Services To Individuals and Families
We are able to help with a broad range of human difficulties and provide professional services. Some of those common issues are listed here:
Relationship Conflict and Dissatisfaction
All couple go through difficult times. We are committed to helping couples identify the sources of dissatisfaction and conflict, and help couples develop new strategies for solving those problems.
Depression and Anxiety
Depression and anxiety affect most people at some time or another. We are able to help identify contributing factors that cause these disorders. We are also able to assist in developing lasting strategies to manage these sources of distress.
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
Attention Deficit Disorder, also known as ADD, is characterized by the inability of a child or adult to sustain his or her attention. The disorder can manifest itself through hyperactivity, inattentiveness, moodiness and bursts of temper. We work closely with families and physicians to identify and treat the disorder.
Evaluation, Assessment, and Psychological Testing
Psychological testing is sometimes used to assist in diagnosing complicated problems. Testing is also sometimes required by the courts, employers, and others to determine whether there are underlying disorders. We are skilled in performing such evaluations, and writing reports as may be required.
Services To Churches
Speaking to Churches and Sunday School Classes on a variety of subjects related to mental health, marriage and the family, parenting, and counseling.
Court Services and Divorce Mediation
Sometimes couples decide they are no longer able or willing to stay married. As an alternative to costly and adversarial court battles, our trained staff can aid couples in making decisions in a peaceful manner. If children are involved, Parenting Plans can be developed to assist both parents in continuing their role in the lives of their children.
Custody Evaluation
When couples have decided to divorce and are unable to agree on the plan for parenting after divorce, attorneys and courts sometimes call on custody evaluators to make recommendations based on an evaluation of the parents and children.
